It is a Profile 2.0 blu-ray player so it can support BD-Live content. The BD-P1600 has internal audio decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. It is WI-FI ‘Ready’, meaning you will have to use a USB port to plug in a Wireless LAN adaptor/Wi-Fi dongle, so you can connect to the internet.
